Description

This is a very rare piece from the Fender Custom Shop; an all-koa Showmaster built by Jason Davis in 1999, as a two-piece set for a photo in the 1999 Fender Custom Shop calendar (the Showmaster set is the month of May.) The Showmaster has a 1-piece koa body with a C shaped koa neck and beautiful piece of dark rosewood for the fretboard.

The guitar was on display at Guitar Showcase in San Jose, California before ending up at the Music Zoo. This Showmaster is in excellent condition, there are two very small dings (one on the top and one on the back of the neck – neither of which go past the lacquer or even feel rough.) This Showmaster had some of its gold hardware swapped for black parts – however we ve returned it to it s stock original state with the original gold hardware. It includes the a lacquered tweed center pocket case with certificate of authenticity, original shipping box, and some newer Custom Shop case candy.
