Description

A recreation of a Strat that’s so iconic, the finish itself has become a known reference; this is the Fender Custom Shop Mary Kaye Stratocaster, built in very limited numbers in 2005. This guitar is masterbuilt by Yuriy Shishkov, and features a lightweight Ash body with a 1-piece maple neck, Abby Ybarra handwound ‘50s Strat pickups, and a Closet Classic treatment to the Mary Kaye White Blonde finish, giving the guitar some tarnishing to the gold hardware and lacquer checking throughout the body.

This Mary Kaye is in great shape, there are some light amounts of playwear unoriginal to the wear from the Custom Shop, and there is a crack in the pickguard above the pickup switch – likely from overturning a screw, which doesn t seem to be spreading or leaving any open holes in the plastic.
